The Kiwanis Club of Northern Door will present Etched in Stone: Scotland to Provence, the second program of its travel and adventure film series. The program takes place on Friday, October 23 at 7:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Sister Bay.
Making a return to the Travelogue series are veteran filmmakers, musicians and entertainers Monty and Marsha Brown. Etched in Stone journeys from Scotland’s Solway Firth on the Irish Sea to the shining Mediterranean Sea, offering highlights of an historic spiritual journey along the way. Stories and legends of the past are literally etched in stone: churches and cathedrals, abbeys and monasteries, castles, monuments, monoliths, and remnants.
Admission to the film is $7 or $36 for a six-ticket season pass, which is valid for admission to any of the season six travel films. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Children under 18 admitted free, with refreshments available during intermission.
