Knit Whit’s Offers Knitting, Felting Classes

Knit Whit’s Yarn & Crafts is offering a three-day Spring Break Knitting Boot Camp at the shop for students ages 10-18 on March 24-26, 11 am – 12:30 pm. It will give students a chance to learn the basics of knitting and make either a scarf or fingerless mittens. Owner Whitney Gross will teach the boot camp, which is limited to eight students. Instruction is offered at a 30 percent discount, and materials are included in the $55 fee. 

A Fingerless Mittens class for those who already know basic knitting and purling will be held March 19 and 26, 2-4 pm. The fee of $40 does not include materials. Learn more at knitwhitsyarnshop.com.

The Gnome Needle Felting class is perfect for the beginner who wants to explore this craft. Barb Zellmer will teach the class March 21, 1-4 pm. The fee of $40 includes materials. The class is limited to eight participants.

The two-part Rabbit Needle Felting class will be held April 3, 3:30-5 pm, and April 4, 1-4:30 pm. Two sessions are needed to complete this project, which measures nearly one foot tall. The fee of $75 includes materials. The class is limited to eight participants.
