Kolberg Upsets Egg Harbor for Playoff Championship

Riley Spetz pitched a 13-0 season for the Egg Harbor Indians. He was named the 2012 MVP and Pitcher of the Year.

In the 2012 Door County League Playoff Championship game played Sunday, Aug. 26, the Kolberg Braves upset the regular season champion Egg Harbor Indians 14-12.

Egg Harbor’s Riley Spetz was named the 2012 League Most Valuable Player and Pitcher of the Year. While Sister Bay’s Stewart Larsen’s garnered the 2012 Batter of the Year award with his .518 batting average, and Mark Stoeger of Egg Harbor was named Manager of the Year.
