Kopseker Trust Fund Supports Door-Tran

Door-Tran has received $17,617 from the R. Bruce and Alyce S. Kopseker Trust Fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation to help meet the increased demand for transportation volunteer programs and half-price travel vouchers. This funding will help support office hours in Sister Bay.

Door-Tran implemented several transportation programs after a United Way needs assessment identified the lack of transportation services as the most significant need in 2006. More than 56,000 trips have been provided to date using the volunteer-driver and half-price taxi-voucher programs.

Volunteers are a huge part of the success of these programs, which provide local residents with affordable transportation services.
