Kuhns and Sawyn Release ‘Blood Roots’

Jeanne Kuhns and George Sawyn are excited about the summer release of their new CD, Blood Roots, and their CD-release concert July 10, 7 pm, at the Kress Pavillion in Egg Harbor. 

Recorded at Studio 330 in Sturgeon Bay, Blood Roots is a collection of nostalgic standard and classic songs from every decade from the 1930s to the 1970s. Kuhns’ late mother helped to put the collection together. The duo chose to record the album sparsely: just her vocals and his guitar, which is featured in solos and intros.
