Lakeshore CAP Offers Homebuyer Education Workshop

Lakeshore Community Action Program, Inc. serving Door, Calumet, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties is offering a Home Buyer Education workshop on June 7.

A certified housing counselor will detail practical tools, consumer information and provide handouts for each participant about the home-buying process.

A $5,500 grant is available for households that are income-eligible and complete the homebuyer program. The workshop, from 9 am to 3 pm, takes place at Baylake Bank Conference Center, 222 North 3rd Ave., Sturgeon Bay. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
