Larsen’s Sixth Book on Shelves

Finding Tongues in Trees is the newest publication of Barbara Larsen, well known Door County poet. This is her sixth book and follows All in Good Season which was published in 2005 and well received by area and state readers. Following the successful pattern of her earlier publications, this book includes poems of nature, memories, and present times, often with a philosophical slant and sometimes seasoned with a touch of humor.

Larsen has been active in the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets and in poetry groups and events in the local area. She has won a number of literary awards, including the WRWA Jade Ring Prize for Excellence in Poetry and the Hal Grutzmacher annual writing contest in the Pulse.

Finding Tongues in Trees is available at local bookstores and markets for $10. For further information contact Beach Road Press, 11751 Beach Road, Sister Bay WI 54234 or call 920.854/4835.
