Laura Ingalls Wilder to Visit Ephraim Library

The Ephraim Library Fund, Inc., is proud to present its 2016 Notable Women in History presentation on Aug. 12 at 2 pm.

The program features Jessica Michna as Laura Ingalls Wilder in a fascinating “first person” account of the Wilder family’s life. Wilder wrote Little House on the Prairie and other books based on her early years. Laura’s own recipe for gingerbread will be served.

Michna performs several historical characters, all around Wisconsin and beyond. This is her fifth visit to Ephraim, portraying Dolley Madison, Mary Todd Lincoln, Eleanor Roosevelt, Helen Keller, and now, Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Tickets will go quickly (there’s an 80-seat limit), so contact Mary Sawyer at 920.854.2014 or email [email protected] to reserve a seat and leave your name and phone number. Pre-payment will assure your reservation. If space allows, you can also pay at the door the day of the program. Tickets cost $20 and proceeds will benefit the Ephraim Library.
