Laurel Brooks to Run for Mayor of Sturgeon Bay

Laurel Brooks announced her campaign to be the next mayor of Sturgeon Bay.

Brooks has served the city as a member of the Plan Commission for nine years, working with two different administrations and many other Plan Commission members to help shape and interpret the city’s zoning code.

“I am running for mayor of Sturgeon Bay because I believe we can do better. I believe that city hall should encourage cooperation between elected officials, paid city staff, and all of us who call Sturgeon Bay home. Working together, we can generate and develop new ideas and minimize conflict. Together we will prepare our city for the future, where families, business and industry can flourish together.
