Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm & Shop will present the Lavender Lunch & Learn Series with Chef Terri Milligan in 2016. There are three dates with three different menus in the series: June 20, July 18 & Aug. 15.
The 90-minute events include a three-course luncheon served during the cooking class with Milligan. Classes are held at Fragrant Isle’s Le Petit Bistro terrace (weather permitting) overlooking the fragrant lavender fields. The event includes the luncheon, lavender lemonade, cooking class and all recipes. The cost is $35 per person.
Here are the menus for each class: June 20 – Pinot Noir Door County Cherry & Lavender Soup; Lavender Pecan Chicken Breast Salad & Greens tossed with Lavender Caesar Dressing; Cream Puff Swan with Lavender-infused Whipped Cream & Strawberries; July 18 – Fresh Fruit Salad with Lavender Candied Pecans & Lavender Pomegranate Vinaigrette; Herbs de Provence Chicken & Seasonal Vegetable Crepe; Lavender Door County Cherry Crisp & Fragrant Isle Lavender Ice Cream; Aug. 15 – Preserved Lavender Lemons; Greens with Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette, Roasted Beets, & Montrachet Cheese; Herbs de Provence Pizzetta with Lavender Basil Sun-dried Tomato Pesto & Fresh Mozzarella; Lavender Blueberry Pound Cake with Orange Infused Fresh Fruit.
The lunch & learn events are offered twice each day at 11 am and 1:30 pm. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Fragrant Isle at 920.847.2950.
