Lea Receives Permaculture Certification

David Lea, member of Sustain Door, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainable practices in Door County, recently attended an intensive course in Permaculture at University of Wisconsin – River Falls (UWRF).

Lea received his Certificate of Permaculture Design as a result of the 72-hour course, which consisted of an eight-day intensive classroom and hands-on experience, supplemented by over a dozen “webinars.” The course was run by Midwest Permaculture with instructors Bill Wilson and Wayne Weisman and was sponsored by St. Croix Institute for Sustainable Community Development.
