Learn About Egg Harbor’s First Permanent Resident

The Egg Harbor Historical Society will welcome society member Glen Tanck to the Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St. in Egg Harbor, on July 27, 7 pm, to present a free program about Milton Lyman, the first permanent resident of  Egg Harbor.

Lyman made many important contributions to the early history of Egg Harbor and Door County, including his role as the first county school superintendent, first county judge, longtime justice of the peace and one of the founders of the Town of Egg Harbor. His life held significant accomplishments, but also tragedy.
