Learn about Pastels at First Steps Series

The Artists Guild’s First Step Series is all about pastels on Jan. 18 from 1 – 3 pm. First Steps is an intermediate level series that builds from the fundamentals. This is for those who are familiar with them and interested in furthering their skills. The cost is $30 per student, small material list available – call for details.

Also on Jan. 18, a Winter Youth Class will be held from 10 – 11:30 am. These classes are intended for children ages 7 – 12, and each month has a different theme – this month is amazing animals.

Bottle & Brush is held Friday from 6 – 8:15 pm. Bring a favorite beverage and snacks and enjoy an evening of canvas painting. The cost is $35 per person – all art materials are included.

The Life Drawing Guild is a community of artists that gather on Tuesdays to draw from the figure; they next meet on Jan. 21 from 6:15 – 8:15 pm. Membership is on a monthly cycle with each month costing $40. The drop-in fee is $20/night; students pay $8.

Open studio time is available on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Artists Guild has studio space for individuals or groups for $20/day or buy four days and get a fifth for free.
