Learn About the Golden Girls at the Door County Historical Museum

The Door County Historical Museum will mark the 100th anniversary of the Green Bay Packers with the display Mary Jane and the Golden Girls. They were the Packers’ cheerleading squad, led by Door County native Mary Jane Van Duyse from 1959 through 1972. Meet Mary Jane and some of the Golden Girls on Sept. 7, 10 am – 2 pm. 

The museum, at 4th Avenue and Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay, is open every day through October, 10 am – 4:30 pm.
