Learn about Work Force Training Grant Opportunities

On June 11, 8 – 9 am, the Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC), Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and the state Department of Workforce Development invite interested parties to learn about new work force training grant opportunities for businesses. Shelly Harkins from the Department of Workforce Development’s Office of Skills Development will discuss the recently announced fourth round of Wisconsin Fast Forward grants available to employers for customized worker training, including details of the application process. Dean Stewart, dean of Corporate Training and Economic Development at NWTC will provide information about additional workplace training grant opportunities.
