Learn Basic Coastal Navigation with Door County Sail & Power Squadron

On Monday, September 13 the Door County Sail & Power Squadron will offer a free two-hour seminar, “Basic Coastal Navigation,” beginning at 6:30 pm at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. The seminar features practical techniques to plan, navigate, and check progress on the water, helping participants develop situational awareness skills to quickly point to their position on a chart.

Chuck Holtz will teach “Basic Coastal Navigation.” He is familiar with power and sail boats, as he has owned and delivered powerboats and sailed extensively with his wife on the Great Lakes. He has been a Power Squadron member since 1963 and is a 25-year member of the Great Lakes Cruising Club.

For more information or to sign up for the seminar, contact Jeff Rosenfeld at 920.559.7520 or via email at [email protected].
