Learn First Aid at the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Station

The Sister Bay & Liberty Grove Fire Department is partnering with the American Safety & Health Institute to offer classes to educate the community in the proper method of using an AED and performing CPR, as well as basic first aid. All classes are being offered at the Sister Bay Fire Station on Mill Road.

The first aid class is scheduled for July 11, 9 am – noon, and focuses on Wisconsin EMS state standards for early emergency interventions and is designed for anyone with an interest in learning some basic safety/lifesaving skills. No prior medical knowledge is necessary. The cost of the class is $20, and certification lasts two years.

The CPR/AED class is scheduled for July 23, 6 – 10 pm, will teach infant, child and adult CPR and offers a two-year certification. The cost is $15 per person.
