Learn How to Grow Your Own Apple Tree

The Peninsular Agricultural Research Station, 4312 Hwy 42 N. in Sturgeon Bay, will be holding a three-session Backyard Apple School to get participants started on growing apples in their own yard. Each of the three classes will cover different topics

The first session – to be held July 14, 4-6 pm – will focus on trees: establishing them (what, where and how to plant) and training them (pruning, soil nutrition and more).
