Learn About Volunteer Opportunities with Crossroads

Crossroads at Big Creek encourages potential volunteers to attend the February meeting of Friends of Crossroads on Feb. 13 at 6:30 pm to learn about upcoming projects and volunteer opportunities. Those interested in volunteering at Crossroads are invited to join the Friends as they discuss future projects and volunteer activities. Meet in the Lower Level Learning Space of the Collins Learning Center.

Another way to help at Crossroads is to become a member of the Crossroads Board of Directors. The Nomination Committee currently is reviewing candidates for two board positions. If you have skills that would benefit Crossroads and would be willing to serve, email [email protected]. Leave your name, phone number or email address.

The trails of Crossroads’ three preserves are always open without charge. On Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 1 to 3:30 pm (if snow conditions permit), Friends of Crossroads and Door County Silent Sports Alliance lend ski and snowshoe equipment for free. Winter recreation equipment is distributed from the Maintenance Building just east of the Michigan Street Parking Lot. Check crossroadsatbigcreek.com for current conditions and closures.
