Learn What’s Happening at the Agricultural Research Station

Learn about the projects going on at the Peninsular Agricultural Research Station (PARS) in Sturgeon Bay during a Door County Master Gardeners Association program set for April 13, 6:30 pm.

PARS is one of 12 UW-Madison research stations, but the only one whose primary focus is fruit production, and the number of research and demonstration projects it’s working on has grown in recent years. During the program, station superintendent Becky Wiepz and UW outreach specialist Jamie Patton will discuss new and ongoing projects for 2023, as well as their visions for expanding their work into innovative, climate-smart agricultural practices for the region.

The program is offered in person at Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, and online in a recorded format. Learn more at dcmga.org.
