Learning in Retirement’s Fall Semester Begins Soon

Looking for something new to learn during your retirement years? Taking some courses through Door County Learning in Retirement (DCLIR). The fall semester will begin in mid-September – in person or via Zoom – and courses are open to registered members only.

Fall-semester courses include Abraham Lincoln as Commander in Chief, Osteoporosis-related Fractures, Bicycle Maintenance, Hike Oak Road Nature Preserve, Fun with Watercolor, German POWs in Door County, Hospice 101, Ireland and Its Poets, Living on Social Security, Paper Basket Weaving and Strawberry Creek Fish Hatchery Tour.

DCLIR is dedicated to facilitating quality, lifelong learning in an open, ongoing forum for older adults in northeastern Wisconsin. The presenters and coordinators are all volunteers, and the courses are intended for the enjoyment and self-improvement of participants.
