Leave No Trace Garlic Mustard

This month’s Leave No Trace Tuesday will involve working with the Washington Island parks committee to pull garlic mustard from Sand Dunes Beach on Aug. 10, 11 am – 1 pm. Meet at the beach to sign in, sign the Door County Pledge and have a midseason check-in. Supply your own work gloves and hand spade if possible, but some extras will be available.

At 1 pm, Destination Door County (doorcounty.com) will hold a short symposium on the Washington Island beach to share some of its initiatives, discuss the importance of Door County’s Leave No Trace Seven Principles, and highlight ways to stay involved.
