Leave No Trace Tuesday Returns May 17

Leave No Trace Tuesday – a monthly community mixer that Destination Door County hosts monthly on the third Tuesday – will resume May 17, 5-7 pm, at Birch Creek Music Performance Center, 3821 Cty E in Egg Harbor.

Volunteers should meet in the parking lot to learn about Door County’s Leave No Trace Seven Principles, sign the Door County Pledge and grab a snack while socializing. Then participants will mulch beds and tidy the grounds. Stay for the whole time or as long as you can. Work gloves, rubber gloves and a limited number of rakes will be provided, but please provide your own if possible. 

Volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket to a Wednesday or Thursday night concert at Birch Creek, a first beer (or root beer) free at One Barrel Brewing and a pass for a free guided hike at The Ridges Sanctuary. 

The second Leave No Trace Tuesday is scheduled for June 21.
