Pastor Michael Brecke will talk about religious practice and community during the next edition of the free Door County Talks series on Feb. 11, 10 am, in the fireside lobby of Door Community Auditorium (DCA). Kick Ash Coffee will provide refreshments.

That evening at 7 pm, John Lewis & Friends will take the main stage for a concert of all-original music. Lewis has been a full-time performing musician for decades and has been based in Door County since 2017. His latest album is Graffiti. Joining him will be Kris Lewis on background vocals; Hans Christian on bass and cello; drummer Adam Cain; bassist Dennis Keith Johnson; Paul Taylor on drums, guitar and dobro; Terry Murphy on vocals, guitar and mandolin; and Solomon Lindenberg on piano and organ. Tickets are $17.50, and advance reservations are recommended.

On Feb. 16, 7 pm, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Presents touring initiative  will perform Songs We Love: a journey through four vibrant decades, beginning with the early blues and jazz of the 1920s, courtesy of the talents of three guest vocalists and a first-rate band made up of some of New York’s rising stars. A student matinee will also take place earlier in the day.

Advance reservations are recommended. Purchase tickets ($28-$48 for the evening performance) at dcauditorium.org, by phone at 920.868.2728 or at the box office, 3926 Hwy 42 in Fish Creek.
