Lectures at Crossroads

Two educational programs will take place at Crossroads on March 3, both at 7 pm. The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will hold its March meeting in the Stonecipher Astronomy Center. Dave Udell will share the “Latest News in Astronomy” and Tom Minahan will present the feature lecture, “The Mysteries of Antimatter.” The public is invited and refreshments will be served.

Also at 7, Master Gardeners of Door County will present “Invasives! The New List.” Speaker Kari Hagenow, the coordinator of the Door County Invasive Species Team, will explain that the Wisconsin DNR and the Natural Resources Board recently recommended rule changes, which would add 74 species to the current list of regulated invasive plants. This program is free and open to the public.
