My pic of the week this week is of a friendly porcupine I spotted while hiking. She sat along the trail for a moment before heading up a nearby cedar tree. Significant not only for the photo itself but also because the snow had finally melted enough to allow hiking without the aid of snowshoes. Has spring finally arrived? I believe this porcupine is wondering the same thing.
