Len Villano’s Pic of the Week: Big Snow Day

Monday brought heavy snow to Door County, dumping more than a foot of snow in most areas. I wanted to capture the feeling of falling snow in a still image. That is why I chose this image as Pic of the Week. The old farm buildings add nostalgia to the image receding into the frame. The diffusion of the snow, the smaller building in the background, and the trees add to the depth of the image. And the falling snow adds motion and a sense of almost being able to feel the snow.
