Len’s Pic of the Week: Chalk It Up

Sturgeon Bay held its annual Chalk The Bay event as part of Harvest Fest last weekend. I chose this shot of young artists having fun chalking the sidewalk outside of the Sturgeon Bay library and Miller Art Museum. It was a great event and the kids loved it and created some great work. Here 10-year-old Emma Bousley, from Sturgeon Bay, and 13-year-old Cole Ward, from De Pere, work on their latest masterpieces. I chose to shoot from their level to draw your eye into the frame. Thank you to all the artists for their excellent creations.
