Leslie Boden Joins Money Management Counselors

Money Management Counselors, powered by FISC CCCS, have hired Leslie Boden to assume the role of executive director in 2019. Gay Pustaver, current executive director, will remain with Money Management Counselors through 2018 to provide the supervision and mentoring necessary for Boden to acquire the certifications required for the position. Melissa Kugel, who has been the administrative assistant for three years, will remain in her position which will also assist in the smooth transition to new leadership.

Boden has lived in Door County for more than 30 years and has a background in small business, marketing and the nonprofit field as well. Her past experience as a business owner and her background working with families served by Habitat for Humanity provides her with a wide scope when it comes to understanding money management issues for people of all income levels.

“I definitely look forward to carrying on the important work provided by Money Management Counselors over the past 24 years. And I am grateful to be able to train with Gay over the next few months,” Boden said.
