Letter to the Editor: Children’s Zoos

We have all been to zoos that are designed to entertain children.

Part of the format of these zoos is food for sale that you can buy for the children to throw to the animals.

Have you ever thought of Puerto Rico as a huge children’s zoo?

If you saw Trump being entertained by throwing gifts to the crowd, it is not possible to avoid the parallel.

Trump clearly thinks of us, especially those with brown, black skin, as little more than animals penned up for his entertainment. (Not only those in Puerto Rico, but also the thousands who gather in stadiums and listen to his rants for his entertainment.)

Trump is the child reveling in throwing out the gifts to the crowd in Puerto Rico. How can anyone miss the children’s zoo parallel?
