Letter to the Editor: Conspiracy?

The special prosecutor’s indictments this past Friday of 13 Russians infiltrating our society and their attempt to help the Trump campaign has prompted me to look at the events leading up to and including his first year as POTUS with a keener eye and clearer focus.

The last time Mr. Trump was in Russia was 2013 for the Miss Universe Pageant. The indictment states the Russians were in place here, working on their sinister plan starting in 2014, readying themselves to meddle in our 2016 election.

From the start the warning signs were there, but I ignored them:  His erratic behavior, vulgarity, obsession with size and attendance, misuse of the English language.

This is my theory: while attending the Pageant in 2013, the Russians replaced Mr. Trump with a doppelganger, a Putin clone appearing to be Trump, a vision of the Chief.

Rumor has it the Donald is eating caviar, sipping White Russians and laughing his a** off back in Russia.
