Letter to the Editor: Let’s Celebrate Positive Action

These are contentious times in the world of politics. Let’s not miss an opportunity to celebrate and support legislators working together for the good of the people.

A bipartisan bill to benefit young people has been introduced to the U.S. Senate by two Democrat and two Republican senators: Senator Tammy Baldwin of our state along with Tim Kaine (D-VA), Rob Portman (R-OH) and Todd Young (R-IN). The Educating Tomorrow’s Workforce Act will update career and technical education opportunities to better prepare students for the evolving workforce.

While controversy rages on many issues, please thank our legislators who are moving forward with positive actions that don’t necessarily make the headlines!
