Letter to the Editor: No to More Cows, Hotels

This letter has to do with allowing the CAFO to expand their dairy herd from 6,000 cows to 10,000 cows. I am told neither Kitchens nor Gallagher attended the meeting.

I can only think of all the pollution and how it will affect our environment. This should not be just the concern to the people in that immediate area, but should be a concern of all of Door County. Just wait until the tourists hear of the water and air quality in Door County.

Yes and we sure don’t need a hotel in Sturgeon Bay. As I recall we had four of them at one time. What happened to them? Yes they were not feasible.
