Letter to the Editor: A Question for You

When are you going to stand up for the country? Not a word on the record from you expressing disgust at what “the leader” of this country has said about his support for Nazis, KKK, and white supremacy. You, by your silence, have abdicated leadership to mayors and governors, the military, the business community, the press, and the grieving mother. Congress needs to get its act together, with both houses and both parties joining forces to rein in this “leader.” Congress controls the checkbook for the country. Congress needs to demonstrate the moral courage to tell “the president” no legislation will move forward until he stops this ridiculous, childish, inflammatory, demeaning twitter habit. He has made this country a laughing stock among other nations and moved this country to a very dangerous place. You were elected to do something. What are you going to do?
