As teachers returned to work Aug. 29 they had a great week preparing for our students. On Thursday, August 31 staff wrapped up an awesome week and were treated to a fantastic lunch provided by Prince of Peace’s congregation. What an honor it was for our staff!
We heartfully thank Prince of Peace’s Pastor Gomez and his worshippers as we witnessed their servant leadership. The lunch was delicious and they did a fantastic job. In addition, we are very thankful for donations provided by Econo Foods and Pick ‘N Save that made this luncheon possible.
During the first week of school, several community businesses served our staff and we wish to thank them for all that they did for us. Culver’s provided staff a variety of fantastic frozen custard flavors. Thank very much for providing staff this amazing treat.
Jimmy Johns supplied staff amazing sub sandwiches at the end of an amazing first week. Our staff worked tirelessly and it was great to see Jimmy John’s rewarding them for all their hard work. We thank you for thinking of us.
Finally, our Middle School football team holds a Friday dinner at the end of each week’s practice. Papa Murphy’s staff provided our coaches and parents discounted pizza so we can hold these meals. This was a wonderful experience for students to practice all week, play and then sit down together as a team and share a meal. Thank you for making this possible.
Our local businesses’ support helps make our schools great places to work. We publically wish to thank every business and volunteer that contributed to your area school. We are in awe of each of your contributions, generosity and kindness. Thank you for making Sturgeon Bay Schools a great place to work, teach and learn.
And with each new day, we count our blessings that we are surrounded by such respectful, passionate and loving businesses. We are truly lucky to live, work and play in Sturgeon Bay.
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
