Letter to the Editor: Thanks for Making Back-to-School Fair Successful

Altrusa International of Door County extends a huge thank-you to many individuals and supporters of this year’s Back-to-School Fair, held on Aug. 5. Sincere thanks go to the volunteers from the community, many personal and business financial donors, Dunham’s Sports, Friends of the Library, Scaturo’s Baking Company, Trattoria Dal Santo, Door County Silent Sports, Midwest Dental, Whispering Pines, Marine Travelift and our very own Altrusa membership. Special deep appreciation is extended to the Walmart management staff and the Sturgeon Bay Schools’ maintenance staff. This community effort has permitted Altrusa to serve roughly 625 children this year – the biggest fair ever! We are very grateful and extend heart-felt thanks to all!
