Letter to the Editor: Thanks for Meeting ‘Partners in Compassion’ Campaign Goal

Good Samaritan Society-Scandia Village would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all of our Capital Campaign Committee members, to all campus residents, to all GSS-SV employees, to all members of the SCAND Auxiliary, and to the entire community for helping us achieve our $8,000,000 “Partners in Compassion” Campaign Goal. Thanks to the generosity of all involved, we have been able to serve more than 50 people thus far in our new Assisted Living building, many in-house and community members have used the new therapy department, plus construction will begin this spring on a new 14 private room addition to the care center, which will enable 40 of our 50 residents to then have private rooms. The generosity and caring shown by this community is unsurpassed. We cannot say thank you enough to everyone involved for helping make to make other’s lives much more comfortable.
