Letter to the Editor: Thanks for Time and Talent

On behalf of myself, the Neighbor to Neighbor board of directors, volunteers, and those we serve, I would like to thank Catholic Financial Life Chapter 213 – Sturgeon Bay and their team, including Rachel DeMeuse, president, Don Kuehn, vice president, and Patricia A. Kaye, secretary/treasurer, for their hard work in preparing for and holding the St. Patrick’s Day Fling event to benefit Neighbor to Neighbor. Thanks, also, to Catholic Financial Life’s corporate office for the matching funds.

We truly appreciated the efforts of Rachel DeMeuse, Jane Kuehn, and Joan Kezo, who sold Belgian pies, cookies and brownies throughout the evening, the band Rocker for the great music, all who attended the event, and those who participated in the dance contest. Cherry Lanes provided the venue. We are very happy that you chose to support Neighbor to Neighbor through this fun event. You all ROCK!

Your donations of time, talent, and treasure will assist Neighbor to Neighbor in serving others through our medical equipment loan program and our other programs: Peer Companions for elderly homebound individuals, Respite Care for family caregivers, and our Lemonade Club cancer survivor/patient support group!

Ann M. Bennett, executive director, Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County

Sturgeon Bay, Wis.
