Letter to the Editor: What’ll Be Next?

Early in the morning of March 4th President Trump sent out a string of tweets alleging that former President Obama ordered the wiretapping of Trump Tower in order to undermine his campaign. Immediately there began talk of a congressional investigation to determine if there was evidence to support Trump’s claim. Some tried to soften the claim by saying he was speaking in generalities but his statement is perfectly clear. The whole government was in a tizzy over Trump’s tweet.

I submit that Trump got his information from the same source from which he has received other messages and those sources are dreams that he has had just before he tweeted. Let’s face it Americans, we have elected a pathological liar, a psychopath or maybe worse as our President. A sad part of this situation, for example, is that when he proudly signs an executive order which reverses rules now in place which are aimed at reducing carbon emissions we have his GOP colleagues standing behind him applauding. Trump is not to be trusted. He failed to get a popularity bump because couldn’t force even his own party members to pass a slapped together health care bill. What will he try next? Maybe an attack on North Korea.
