Letter to the Editor: 1,000 Waffles Served at Belgian Breakfast

The Belgian Heritage Center in Namur would like to thank everyone who came out to our Waffle Breakfast last weekend. Center volunteers whipped up more than 1,000 waffles, Belgian trippe, fried potatoes and scrambled eggs, all made even better with fresh strawberries and homemade maple syrup!

With the support of our visitors, volunteers, and donors, the day was a great success!

Our next event will be the Fish Boil on July 21 with the first boil at 5 pm. All are welcome to join us for this traditional Door County fish boil, complete with potatoes, onions, bread, dessert and beverage. Please also mark your calendars for the Kermiss on Aug. 19 and a first-ever Hunter’s Raffle on Sept. 15.

For more information, visit our website at belgianheritagecenter.org or follow us on Facebook for all the updated event information.

Many thanks.
