Letter to the Editor: An Open Letter to Republicans

I am 74 years old, and I have never in my life seen anything like the spectacle that is happening in the White House today. I have no idea where the Republican Party has gone, but shame on every one of you to let this debacle continue.

Just during the last six months, we have seen more than 130,000 Americans die because of incompetence, no cohesive leadership at the top, a bounty on our people in uniform (just that alone is shameful) and this president hawking products – for example, medicine and now beans.

There was a time when the party stood for the American people, but no more. All I can say is that the election can’t come soon enough, and I hope that most, if not all, of you will be gone. You have shown your true colors, and “we, the people” are at the bottom of your list.
