Letter to the Editor: Black Lives Matter and J-1 Visas

Instead of what I consider to be empty Black Lives Matters protests and writing letters to representatives across the state, why don’t local protestors encourage and recruit minority high school students from Milwaukee for local waitstaff, cooking and housekeeping positions? I find it hypocritical to protest equal rights and at the same time recruit hundreds of J-1 Visa students from other parts of the world.
