Letter to the Editor: Come One, Come All …

to the Door County Master Gardeners Plant Sale! The annual event will take place on Saturday, May 18, 8-Noon.

New this year, the Master Gardeners are hosting a special ticketed event called ‘1st Pick’ on Friday, May 17, 5-7pm. This is an opportunity for shoppers to purchase beautiful perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetable plants at a more leisurely pace. Free gift bags will be given to each attendee as well as free raffles during the evening event.

Tickets are $10. each or two for $15. Visit the website dcmga.org for more information and find a list of local businesses selling tickets. UW Extension located in the Government Center in Sturgeon Bay is also a ticket source.

Door County Master Gardener Association is a non profit serving the Door County community providing free horticultural education classes and over twenty community outreach projects. The Garden Door, a beautiful display garden located at the Peninsular Agricultural Research Station is another DC Master Gardener project. Admission to the garden is free and open to the public.

The Plant Sale is the only fund raiser for the year. Please support the Door County Master Gardeners!
