Letter to the Editor: Earth Day 2019

As we stand on the cusp of the environmental challenges we face, we have choices to be made by all of us. These are no solo journeys; we are a community traveling together on this planet of ours. Our common goals should be to work towards solutions for climate change, the overuse of our natural resources and the overall protection of the air we breathe and the water we drink.

It is the duty of every man and women to work towards these goals so we leave this earth of ours the best we can for future generations. The profits of corporations and the people who would benefit should not be allowed. As we have heard many times now, there is no Planet “B”.

Remember, if we take care of nature, nature will take care of us.
