LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Gratitude for the Seed Library

In this time of precautions, limited contact and polarized views of the way forward in a time of uncertainty, it is really nice to have something else to do, like planting a few seeds. For this reason, we would like to thank the Door County Seed Library for making seeds available to anyone who would like to plant them and to congratulate the organizers for all the educational, participatory events they scheduled during the past year! 

Acknowledging that such events are not probable for this growing season, the group made social-distanced pickup of seed packets possible so that the enjoyment can continue. It is a positive action that any of us can take in order to grow some of our own food or simply to watch nature unfold in all its beauty!
