Letter to the Editor: Haters and Truth

We are again hearing that President Trump refuses to condemn white supremacists. I did an internet search, and the results included this quote:

“Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.” Yes, it was said by President Trump. 

There are videos of him denouncing white supremacists, if you bother to look. The lie that he refuses to condemn them is based on a statement he made saying there were good people on both sides. If you bother to check the context, he was referring to peaceful people who wanted the statue of Robert E. Lee to remain, and peaceful people who wanted it taken down.

If you are trusting media sources that continue to advance the distortion and the lie, you should probably consider trusting other sources.
