Letter to the Editor: In Support of Laurel Hauser

Hard-working, committed, conscientious, responsible, and fair-minded—these are some of the adjectives I would use to describe my candidate for District 7 Alderperson, Laurel Hauser.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Laurel for several years and have seen her demonstrate these qualities countless times, whether it was leading a fund-raising effort for a new sound system in the Sturgeon Bay High School auditorium, making the idea of a skate park in our city a reality, or the work she has done on the City Council in the two short years as an elected official. She sees a need and works to fill that need, putting all the time and effort into the project until it is completed. Her commitment to making Sturgeon Bay the best it can be is a goal, and she is passionate and unwavering in her work to reach that goal. That being said, at the same time she is mindful of her constituent’s ideas and opinions for the direction of Sturgeon Bay as well. I urge you to cast your vote for Laurel Hauser for Alderperson in District 7 on April 2, and allow her to continue to make that goal a reality.
