Letter to the Editor: Just in Case

Out of all the failed schemes of Donald Trump – such as Trump steaks, Trump University and casinos, just to name a few – I believe I’ve come up with a winner for him. It’s the Just in Case Pardon: signed, sealed and delivered by The Donald. 

For only $19.99 plus shipping and handling, you could own your own presidential pardon, just in case. It’s unconstitutional, but who cares? He certainly doesn’t. 

If there’s anything I’ve gleaned from Trump, it is his propensity to separate folks from their money, such as those who recently donated $170 million dollars to his defense fund. For those who temporarily partook of Trump Kool-Aid, there will be an antidote on the market Jan. 20, 2021.
