Letter to the Editor: Let’s Come Together

In view of recent local developments and the toxic political environment in general, wouldn’t it be nice for Door County’s elected officials and candidates to say a few words with a community-minded theme at a socially distanced event about the common bond they share in representing the well-being of our local residents and visitors? Maybe some refreshments and music with an Americana flavor would foster a spirit of comradeship. Maybe the nation would follow our lead.

Door County united! Let’s have a party and celebrate! We are all in this together. For our beloved Wisconsin and America. Love is the answer!
