Letter to the Editor: Open Letter to Senator Susan Collins

Dear Senator Collins,

Your recent speech regarding Judge Kavanaugh was riveting and comprehensive. Thank you for your astute analysis of the confirmation process which we endured watching and listening to. We appreciate your presentation of the facts surrounding this mob-like political affair. I, too, felt Dr. Ford’s testimony was believable. I wonder, though, whether her therapist enabled her to recall a vivid dream, or perhaps she was misled by hypnosis therapy. We are relieved that you did not yield to the pressure directed at you to withhold your vote for confirmation of an innocent, good man. God bless you, Senator Collins. You are a Stateswoman.
